Main New Features of RedMica 4.0
Update colors of "Warning" and "Caution" in Markdown alerts to be consistent with ISO
The colors for “Warning” and “Caution” in Markdown alerts have been updated to ISO 3864-compliant orange and yellow. This resolves an issue previous version where a red “Caution” misleadingly appeared to indicate a higher risk than “Warning”. The new colors now correctly align with risk levels.
Localize default titles in Markdown alerts
Default titles in Markdown alerts (Warning, Caution, Important, Tip, and Note) now support multiple languages. They are displayed in localized text for several languages, including Japanese and Chinese/Traditional.

Introduce Open Color to unify and standardize CSS colors
The color palette used in the design will be unified under a standardized system called Open Color.

Automatic list marker completion

Default Auto Watch settings for new users can be configured
Previously, the default values for “Issues I created” and “Issues I contributed to” in a new user’s Auto Watch settings were ON.
Now, administrators can configure whether these specific options are ON or OFF by default for new users.

Making the Issue History Tab Easier to Read
The default theme has been improved. Previously, every update in the history had a line under its heading. When an issue had many updates, all those lines made it look cluttered and hard to read.
In new version, the lines have been replaced by a background color for each entry. This change makes the history much easier to follow, even when there’s a lot of activity.

{{recent_pages}} macro: display a list of recently updated Wiki pages
The macro {{recent_pages}} , which allows for easy display of a list of recently updated Wiki pages, is now available.

Display user initials when Gravatar is not used
Users who are not using Gravatar will now have their initials displayed. This improves visual clarity for users who have not set an icon, making it easier to identify who they are.
Enhancing API authentication: Support OAuth2
OAuth2 support has been added to REST API authentication.

Plugin and Theme Improvements
Plugin: Issues Panel
Adjusted display timing for issue title popups
In the Issues Panel, hovering over a issue title displays detailed information in a popup. Previously, the response was too sensitive, causing popups to appear even when the cursor merely passed over the title.
We have now added a short delay before the popup appears to prevent unintended activation. This improvement reduces unnecessary flickering and ensures popups only appear when intended.

RedMica 4.0: Popups appear only on intentional hover
Theme: Farend Basic / Farend Fancy
Following the introduction of the “Open Color” palette in the RedMica 4.0 default theme, “Farend Basic” theme and “Farend Fancy” theme have also switched to Open Color-based tones. This update focuses on text, borders, and box backgrounds. These changes improve color consistency and enhance contrast, making the entire interface easier to read.
